Food for the Needy Christmas Basket Campaign…. Providing the joy of Christmas to those in need.
For many years, The Union Mission has provided Christmas baskets to needy families in our community: families struggling to make ends meet, single mothers who can’t pay the rent, let alone buy gifts for their children, the elderly on fixed incomes and the disabled. To those in need Christmas is just another day of trying to survive. There is no joy; without you.
In 2010, you helped us provide Holiday meals with a turkey and all the fixings for 1,261 families and toys that put a smile on the faces of 1,285 children on Christmas morning. This year, hundreds have already applied with many more to come. Will you donate non-perishable canned goods, turkeys and toys for children birth to age 14. Will you help us bring the joy of Christmas to those in need again this year?

- Boxed or Canned White Potatoes
- Dessert Mixes (Cake Mix and Frosting, Pie Crust & Pie Filling, Brownies ect)
- Breakfast items (Cereal, Pancake Mix, Oatmeal or Grits)
- Canned Fruit
- Cranberry Sauce
