The Union Mission Men’s Shelter has been a lighthouse in Norfolk for 120 years. 365 days a year, men come for a hot meal, clean clothes and shelter for the night. They come for a variety of reasons, but all of them receive the love and care of Jesus. We model our care after Christ’s command to his disciples that “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40)
Men who are interested receive counseling, participate in addiction recovery, job and life skills training and other life changing programs. Those who are committed to making permanent changes in their lives join our Discipleship and Training Program working in various areas of the ministry while they study the Bible and work towards independence.
