Jean Chapman Hope Haven Adult Home Administrator Jean was born and raised in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. She graduated from Saint Leo University with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Gerontology. She began her career as a Dietary Assistant for a Nursing Home. Before joining the ministry staff, she was a Long Term Care Ombudsman, handling complaints from Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities and Home Health Agencies. Jean and her husband Lorenzo live in Portsmouth. They have four grown children and four grandsons, ages 8, 4, 2, and 1. Jean says, “I am very proud of my family.” In addition to her years of experience and knowledge, Jean brings to Hope Haven Adult Home her love and devotion to the elderly, but she says, “My greatest gift is knowing God and having Him as my personal Savior.” Jean continues to pursue her growth in elder care.
