“I am very thankful to serve in the Wellness Program at The Union Mission. I am humbled by the blessings I receive each day. Experiencing the joy and thankfulness that each guest shares as they are receiving renewed strength and encouragement with their health issues is truly amazing. When I help our guest with a need I am thankful the Lord can use us as vessels of love and compassion. As Ecclesiastes 3:3 tells us there is ‘A time to heal.’ ”
Teresa is a licensed practical nurse and came to the Mission in April 2013 when her husband, Rev. John Smith, was hired as a Case Manager. She is the Wellness Program Manager and oversees the Wellness Program that provides medical care for the guests of The Union Mission.
