Our emergency shelter and life-saving rehabilitation programs provide safe shelter, hot meals, clean clothing, and a second chance to hundreds of men, women, and children every day.
The Union Mission Ministries is committed to caring for the poor and homeless by providing for their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs helping people overcome their poverty and homelessness. Most importantly we are committed to changing lives forever by sharing the redemptive love of our Savior through the Gospel of Christ.
Many of our shelter guests arrive in need of better health, rehab, or steady employment. We provide Bible-based discipleship programs, offer classes to address specific needs, and job skills training to help people out of their homelessness. Our guests are transformed from hopelessness to wholeness.
At Camp Hope Haven, our desire is to create a safe, loving, and fun environment where children from all across our Hampton Roads community can feel the love of Jesus Christ and can enjoy learning about the Bible.
The Hope Haven Children’s Home provides a loving home for kids from troubled families. Christian houseparents minister to their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in one of the few remaining family-modeled children’s homes in Virginia. Since its founding, more than 350 children have lived at Hope Haven during their time of need.
